Make Up Games and Board Position

Hello RVVA Volleyballers,
We hope the first few games have been great to be back! We sure have loved seeing everyone back and playing volleyball!
In regards to the make up games, we are going to list the dates and times that we have open courts. Please check your schedules and communicate with your team if they would be able to play on any of the make up dates and times. Then reach out to the team captain on the opposing team and see if they're available.
I would say if you have 80% of your team available, to please try and schedule and post to look for a sub for your team! We have lots of people looking to be involved and that would be available to sub.
All of the captain's information is posted on the RVVA website under SEASON>CAPTAINS LIST.
If for some reason you can not make up your game, we will do a 1-1 split and not record a third game score.
The following dates and times are open for scheduling a make up game. Once you have agreed on a date and time with the captain who you were scheduled to play, you can use the following link to reserve your court date and time. If the court date and time are no longer available on the link, that means the court space was reserved already.

Monday, February 24: 8:30-9:30pm 1 court
Wednesday, February 26: 7:30-8:30pm 1 court
Wednesday, February 26: 8:30-9:30pm 2 courts
Monday, March 3: 7:30-8:30pm 1 court
Monday, March 3: 8:30-9:30pm 2 courts

When reporting scores, please email roanokevavolleyball@gmail.com the following information:
Date of original game. Team 1 score: Team 2 scores.
Lastly, RVVA is looking for a new treasurer.
General responsibilities are:
- attend board meetings and help in making board decisions for direction of the league.
- maintain accurate financial records by tracking income and expenses. (Needs to be proficient in excel/google sheets).
- prepare annual tax documentations for the accountant.
-process payments and pay invoices.
