Finally, summer season is upon us and we can’t wait to be back at the Legion starting Monday! If you have not already looked at your team schedules, they are posted on the RVVA website - https://www.rvva.net. Please check your schedules and plan to play at your scheduled time on the designated courts. Summer league is JAM PACKED and court space may be limited.
Just a few reminders and helpful tips -
Courts are numbered and labeled with U, L or AUX:
U - Upper (Men's Nets - Quads, 6's, Men's Doubles, Coed DoublesL - Lower (Women's Nets - Revco Doubles, Women's Doubles, JuniorsAuxL/AuxU- Auxiliary Nets (third row of nets on the Lower side)
Summer Rule Refresh -
No cleats - we don't want to hurt other players who might be playing barefoot in the grass.Drop toss on serve - allowed for the first serve6's - still have a back row even though a line isn't on the fieldsYour team is making their own calls (especially doubles in A and BB leagues and net calls)
Doubles Teams - Morgan will be sending a separate email to captains with more details/rules.
Quads/6's Teams -
You CANNOT reschedule your games - the Board will set-up a reschedule date if needed due to a weather cancellation. So find subs or forfeit.
Be there on time/early. If a full team is not there by 10 after, teams will start playing.
BB Quads - B player must be playing at all times. Captains, feel free to ask who the B player is if unsure.
