Fall Season Info

Fall Season Registration is up and teams are rolling in. We wanted to put out some details so that you can get your teams together and sign up early. There are a lot of variables involved in scheduling the indoor season so this information is our current plan but small tweaks could be made depending on registration numbers.

Tentative Schedule

Sunday: Start at 2. Women's, A, BB, C will have games. Women's or A will play first.

Monday: Start at 6. B, C.

Tuesday: Start at 6. B, C.

***As a reminder, if you mark your conflict days when you register we will do our best to keep you off of that conflict day. You may still end up with a game or two on that day.***

First day of league will be August 29. We will have to take off September 26 due to a gym conflict. Halloween and Thanksgiving Sundays will be off as well.

Free Agent Board/FB Group

We've had a massive influx of new members recently and would love to get them out on the court this fall. We had a B-league free agent team last Winter and many of those players are now playing tourneys and have joined teams with other folks. If you're interested in being a captain for a free agent team at any level, let us know! We also encourage you to reach out to free agents to fill out your roster or if you need a sub- it's a great way to pay it forward and get some new people involved.

Free Agent Pick-up Day

If you're new to the league and want to play ball and meet some people, come out to the American Legion Fields in Salem (710 Apperson Drive) on Saturday, August 14 from 12-? for pick-up ball! Returning members are more than welcome to play and captains can come on out and recruit. The Summer HEAT tourney will be in full swing so you can check out all that the league has to offer.

Summer HEAT

Speaking of Summer HEAT, registration is still open and divisions are looking great! Our last tourney of the year is looking to be a solid day of competition. It's been great to see so many new people play tourneys this year and enjoy hanging out at the fields.

The RVVA will be at the mercy of state and federal mask mandates for our season. Hoping that things improve soon and wishing all of our members and their families the best.

Thank you to our sponsors: Jeff Osborne of Roanoke Realty and Crystal's Healing Hands Massage! We encourage all of our members to patronize these caring local businesses.
