Tamalyn & Mark Tanis are holding a Kids Volleyball clinic at The Edge Sports Complex starting on Saturday February 6, and concluding on Saturday March 27. The clinic will be every Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon with the exception of March 13th when the Edge is not available. The primary Clinic Instructor is Blair Trail who is the Head Volleyball Coach at Roanoke College. The cost of the clinic will be $75/kid provided they have a minimum of 25 participants. To register please e-mail mark.tanis@baml.com and mail your $75 check made payable to Roanoke Juniors in order to reserve your spot. They will accept registrations until the day the clinic begins or until it is full, whichever comes first. To maximize the experience for all participants, They will cut-off registration once they get to 40 participants as they don’t have enough coaches or court space to handle more than that many kids at this time. All participants should wear "athletic" attire, including tennis shoes, shorts/spandex, and a t-shirt. Knee pads are not necessary but are encouraged to prevent bruised knees. The clinic will focus on individual skill instruction & development with team games/drills according to the level of ability.
